About TabsPrompt

Who builds TabsPrompt, what the extension does

What we build

TabsPrompt is a tab manager for Chrome and other Chromium browsers, including Brave and Edge. It's a browser extension: you install it from the Chrome Web Store, sign in with Google, and it works inside the browser you already use.

The problem it solves is familiar. Tabs accumulate, the tab strip turns into a row of unreadable favicons, and the thing you need is somewhere in there. TabsPrompt gives you search across every open tab, tab group, window, and archive. Archives restore with one click. Auto-archive rules clear inactive tabs before they pile up. You can also type a plain-English instruction like "group my shopping tabs" and let the AI work out which tabs match — it groups by topic rather than domain, so a Lego store, a food delivery site, and a clothing shop all land in the same group.

Around that core sit a few deliberate additions: a site blocker with schedules, a focus mode that hides what you're not working on, a tree view showing which tab opened which, Telegram link saving from your phone, and browsing insights that show where the time actually goes.

How we work

We're a small team, and the product is shaped mostly by what users ask for. Features ship when they're ready, and each release gets written up on the changelog. If you want to know what actually changed last month, that page is the record.

TabsPrompt builds on Chrome's own tab groups and windows instead of replacing them, so what you learn stays useful when the extension isn't open.

Pricing

The free plan covers search, tab groups, the bookmarks browser, tree view, site blocking for YouTube and X, and a monthly allowance of AI commands, archives, auto-archive runs, focus sessions, and Telegram saves. Pro lifts those limits and adds custom site-blocking rules, deeper insights, early access to new features, and priority support. Teams that need seat management and SSO can ask about Enterprise. Current prices are on the pricing page.
